Pastor Kenneth McGraw, Sr. currently resides in Hudson, Ohio, and has been married for over 42 years to his wife, First Lady Gail McGraw. They have two children, Kenneth, Jr. and Aleisha, as well as three grandchildren. Pastor McGraw has worked for Wesco International, Rexel Inc., and Brohl and Appell Inc. as Branch Manager, Area Branch Manager and Area Sales Manager for over 30 years. Outside of his business studies and career, he also worked diligently to received his Associate Degree in Biblical Studies from Berean Bible College in 1994, and a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology in 2009 and 2011 from Northeast Ohio School of Ministry. During his 22 years of service at Greater Holy Trinity in Akron, Ohio under the leadership of District Superintendent Clarence Jackson he received his Minister's license in 1993. Thereafter, he completed training in the William Morgan James Institute and was officially ordained as Elder with the Church of God In Christ in August 1995. As an Associate Pastor his duties included leadership of the Department of Elders, District Sunday School Superintendent. Sunday School Teacher, Director of the Nursing Home Ministry and Vice President of YPWW.

 

In February 2013, God called Pastor McGraw further into his ministry as Senior Pastor of Abundant Faith Ministries, the church in which he also founded in 2013. Among many purposes behind the new church, God has given him the vision and mission to meet the spiritual needs of the community in the Akron, OH area. Through the church outreach ministries, which are designed to target in on building up the community, God has intended for Abundant Faith Ministries to focus on spreading of the Word of God through encouraging spiritual development and giving back to the community in order to reach the hearts and restore the lives of people in the community who are in need the guidance and support of a local church family.

On Sunday, April 7, 2013, Abundant Faith Ministries held their first church service with a total of 20 members present, and by the grace and favor of God, within one-year membership has doubled and is expected to continue to grow as they are faithful in Gods plan and purpose.

In December 2017, being led by the Lord, Pastor McGraw began to search for available churches on the market, in hopes to relocate to a new building in Akron, OH. But the Lord led him in a different direction, and was directed to a church building available in Barberton, Ohio. In an instant Pastor McGraw knew and was confident this was the church building God led him to, and this was the church building God wanted Abundant Faith to have.

 

Being in agreement that this would be the great location to plant Abundant Faith Ministries, our Executive Board Members and Pastor McGraw immediately began the process of meeting and discussing the terms of the purchase.

 

With the final approval of the Executive Board Members, and our church membership, we moved forward with a unified church decision to purchase the property, and on April 24, 2018, we were blessed to close on our new church facility and held our first service on Friday, May 4, 2018, where we consecrated and thanked God for blessing us with our new church home.
